Ben founded Premier Ag in 2015, with the goal of helping farmers develop sustainable and profitable farms.
Raised in the Wimmera region, Ben studied an Advanced Diploma of Agriculture and Horticulture at Longerenong College before commencing his career as an agronomist working with grain, legumes, hay, cereals and oilseeds in the Wimmera and Southern Mallee regions. Later he worked as an independent consultant for crop and pasture through the high rainfall zones of Western Victoria.
Ben’s role at PACG is to lead the growing agronomy team and provide accurate and timely advice to key farming clients. He also has a strong interest in agricultural research, data analysis and emerging technology and its ability to improve decision making and productivity.
Ben is passionate about helping farmers capitalise on the full potential of their land through effective farm planning and management.
