Anna joined Premier Ag as an Agronomist in 2017.
Anna’s interest in Agronomy was fostered while studying a Bachelor of Agriculture at the University of Melbourne. On graduating in 2013 she began her career as an agronomist in Saskatchewan, Canada, working with oilseed, legume and cereal crop producers. The intensive, short growing seasons in Saskatchewan highlighted the importance of timeliness of operations and is a key driver behind Anna’s belief that “Preparation prevents poor performance”.
Since returning from overseas Anna has worked in the Victorian Mallee developing a strong interest in on-farm profitability, gross margin analysis, herbicide resistance and harvest weed seed control.
Anna’s major focus is improving her client’s profitability. Anna is based in her hometown of Camperdown embarking on the exciting challenge of a mixed enterprise farming operation.
Anna recognises the importance of good information sharing and evidence-based approaches to ensure great outcomes. She is excited about the future of Australian agriculture and looks forward to being part of a progressive and rewarding industry for many years to come.
